Don Holman Was The Best In His Talents In Cross Country and Stamina in Basketball At Columbus High School The Stamina & Drive Was EndlessI have to say that even though Don was a few years older than me, I always looked up to him as a star performer in all his challenges in sports. When I would go to basketball games I always looked for Don to do the "clutch play" to bring the team out of the downward direction, and he did. Don was a superior example of a point guard leader, that always had a keen insight to the total floor of activity. He went on to higher accomplishments in College and reared a great family, and friends that placed many positive foot prints for years to come. Don Holman will always be remembered as a great person and star of many things, for many years. I am comforted to have had the privilege of watching him in sports and knowing him. I remember playing with and against him at Donner Park Summer basketball, sponsered by Coach Bill Stearman. I always wanted to be on his team, for the win. His was on the Utah State University Basketball team that entered into the prized NCAA Basketball tourney during his College tenure.
