Most of the threads in this "restaurant" thread mention those "everyday" types of places some of us might have stopped in to grab a quick burger or sandwich and a soft drink. The Palms was located approximately where the 4th Street Bar stands today. I'm not sure what year The Palms opened for business, but by 1966, it had closed up and the Hollywood Cafe occupied this building. The Palms was one of the "finer" places to have lunch or dinner in Columbus. I've seen several postcards of The Palms...and here is one showing the interior...
