Stadler Packing Company Inc., is now known as Mariah, a division of Peer Foods Group. The picture is from the State Street Bridge over the Haw Creek. The creek was dredged in the 50's but today, the under growth looks as it did in the 1940's and early 1950‘s. This plant is no longer a Slaughterhouse. I understand they are a smoking and packaging plant today.
