As per Jim Hinds note, here is a Thread regarding this grade school.
I'm not familiar with it. Where was it located?

25th Street Grade School was located in the first phase of the "new" high school (now Columbus North) on 25th Street. It consisted of the north-south wing which leads past the cafeteria and back to the gym, and the east-west wing almost as far west as what is now the main entrance. It was in business from the '53-'54 school year through the '56-'57 school year (when it was actually under the same roof as the new high school). It was replaced by the new Lillian Schmidt Grade School on 27th Street. (I had the great, great pleasure of having "Miss Lillian" for my first grade teacher, by the way. What a fine lady she was.)

25th Street School has great memories for me. I remember Principal Otto and my favorite teacher, Mr Rouse. I remember the wooden structure - I believe built to house soldier during WWII. It was obviously a temporary building but great friendships were made there. I remember one exercise with a fellow student, Bill Gary, and I were elected to create a pictorial presentation that consumed the entire blackboard. Gerry (Eddie) Newland

I also went to the 25th school in the 5th and 6th grade.. Does anyone remember when the boys got sprayed by the skunk and could not ride the school bus home?
