This building no longer there was destroyed by fire in the 1950's, it was located across the ally from the now library. In 1938 a Dr. Baker was located in the lower part of the building and we lived in the upper apartment. I can still remember looking out the front windows and seeing the large clock at the bank on the conner of Main Cross and Walnut St., the clock is still there today.

Opening in 1919 the Wurtz Bakery was located on the N-W conner of Main Cross and Holland St. I don't have a closure date, I know they were still open in the late 30's when we were living in Edinburgh.

Rhonda..........makes you think of the American Pickers, those items would bring some big bucks. I was in that garage several times back in the 1930's, we lived in an upstairs apartment just across the ally from the garage, I still remember the smell of those new Pontiac's inside the garage.
