I got my first look at the cover of my book this morning, and am proud to share it with you all. I haven't received the Official Press Release yet. That will be forthcoming in the next couple of weeks. However, I can share this much: the book will retail for $19.99, with a scheduled release date of October 1, 2013. 50% of the book proceeds goes to the Crump Theatre. I will be having a book release party. As soon as I get things organized, I will post the announcement here.

Tamara Stone Iorio has a new book due out very shortly. I'm sorry, I do not have the exact title right now, but it is something like the 100 or 150 Most Influential Men Of Bartholomew County. It is published by Arcadia Publishing.
Tamara will be having a book signing at Viewpoint books, Saturday, September 21, and another at Atterbury-Bakalar Musuem in October. As soon as I receive more information, I will post it here.

Dr. Iorio will also be giving a talk at the Bartholomew County Public Library on September 16th at 7:00pm in our Red Room. The book is entitled Legendary Locals of Columbus Indiana. She will cover early settlers such as Irwin, Glick and Crump, names from the 19th century-Lincoln, Brown and Reeves to name a few and 20th century names including Cummins, Noblitt and Hamilton. Numerous others also left their marks in big and small ways on the town and these will also be covered. Copies of the book will be available for purchase from Viewpoint Books. host6.evanced.info/barth/evanced/eventsignup.asp?ID=3968
