I thought the show was very disappointing.

George:
I have talked to several folks today and emailed a few. All of them say it wasn't very good, so you hit it on the head. CBS wasted a lot of money for nothing, it seems and probably disappointed most people.

I TAPED THE SHOW BUT WOKE UP ABOUT 5 MINUTES INTO IT AND GOT OFF TO A BAD START MR OSGOOD'S DICTION WASN'T VERY GOOD BECAUSE HE PRONOUNCED CUMMINS WITH A 'G'
I THINK THE SHOW WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE INTERESTING IF THEY TURNED IT AROUND INSTEAD OF USING COLUMBUS AS A LEAD IN TO OTHER PLACE
THE OVERHEAD SHOTS WENT BY TOO FAST

Due to a very early appointment at the VA Monday morning, I spent the weekend with my sister and her family. I dvr'd both the Channel 8 Sunday Daybreak and CBS New Sunday Morning but have yet to watch either.
The comments expressed above echo what else I've heard so far regarding the program. Without having seen the program yet, I get the impression that Columbus was just used as a backdrop for the show...
The paper reported that the Visitor's Center webpage, if IIRC, had a spike of 300%. I don't mean to be critical here, but percentages really don't tell you much at all. It would have been a better gauge to share the actual numbers instead of a percentage. For me, that is very frustrating, IMO...
