We were discussing a menu that Babs's found from the Blue Bell. I have listings from 1941-1947 showing it at 426 3rd Street. That would be in the Belvedere Hotel building. Their slogan in the 1947 phone book was "Particular Food for Particular People". Later on that same space was the Gause Cafe.

Thanks Ricky for locating where this restaurant was.
I have this menu and will give it to someone who wants it. I did bring it to the meeting last night but everyone thought I should wait and offer it to John...so John if you want it, it is yours. Or if not, then whoever else asks for it, you can have it.
So it was right where the old Gause's Cafewas? Interesting, I didn't remember that name of Blue Bell Grille at all.
