Since Edinburg is so close to Columbus, and we have had quite a bit of information regarding the town, let's start leaving any posts regarding Edinburg here.

The mill was located just a little west of Blue River dam and the bridge. This is the second mill at that site, it was built in 1872 after the first mill was destroyed by fire.

Picture appears to be taken at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at the west end of Main Cross St. looking to the east. The card is postmark 1912, but the photo appears to be a few years earlier than that date.

The first school built on the west hill in Edinburgh. The school was built in 1869 and was replaced by a new school in 1912. The 1912 school was replaced several years ago by the present school on the east side of Edinburgh. This card is dated 1911.

The upper floor was the Masonic Temple and the lower floor was the Opera House. The Opera House auditorium seated 600 and the seats were removable for dances in the early 1900. In latter years the lower floor was the Pixy Theater. It is located on the N-E corner of Walnut and Thompson St., and was built in 1908.
