Has anyone here lived, or knows someone who has lived in the house on the corner of Sycamore and 7th? I don't recall the exact address, but it may have been something along the lines of 713 Sycamore Street. It's a large yellow house on the corner. In fact, when I lived there it was apartments (one in front, one upstairs, one in the back). It's the house circled in red. On the lower left is the old Central Junior High. I know this is a strange question, but I have a reason for asking it. ;D

In fact, Richard the administrator has the house in the background of a couple of the photos he took during Central's demolishing. It's the large, yellow/beige house on the right.

James........I do have some information on the home at 7th and Sycamore. The home was owned by a Mildred Shanklin in the 1950's and 60's that I know of, at one time I believe she had a nursing home there. Mildred also had some rental property in East Columbus.

George Wow, very interesting. It doesn't surprise me to learn that it was once used as a nursing home. Thank you!
