For all of you genealogist's out there the Hershey family (Herski) in Germany years ago before coming to America married in with the Stouffer family as they were candy makers together.
I have the Stouffer genealogy along with the Hershey line back to 1630 as when coming to American in 1740 they stayed in the Pennsylvania area for many years with some coming on west and it just so happened that Mary Stouffer married a guy by the name of Samuel Boliver Snyder and they came from Pennsylvania to our Columbus area in 1841. Reason I like the Hershey icing is I am blood relation to the Hershey's
Their first child was a boy but their second was a little girl and they named her Barbara as Mary Stouffer Snyder's grandmother's maiden name was Barbara Hershey. There are still many of her descendants still living here with Blanch Loy's grandchildren and Evelyn Moore (Jim) and Viola Dunn and Grace Marie married to Herb Gressel and on and on.
