The Columbus Hotel was located at 621 Jackson Street. It also had a bar either to the side or inside the hotel. Wasn't the bar Paul's for awhile?

Do you know where I can find any history of the Columbus Hotel? I have an ancestor, Amos Sine, who owned a hotel and bar in Columbus, according to the 1870 census. I'm trying to find out which. He must have been 'in town', as many neighbors had businesses too, including George Schwarzkopf's wagon place, like a carriage maker, a boot maker, a butcher, and the jail were all nearby.
Thanks
